Hi, I’m Rita - the photographer behind Sol Photo.
My journey into photography began as a search for beauty in what is imperfect, quiet and real. I have always been drawn to the in-between moments - the ones that are not staged, but deeply felt.
I photograph weddings, elopements and love stories in the Netherlands and across Europe. My work is built on trust, calm presence and gentle direction, so you can feel like yourselves while I create something that looks and feels cinematic.
In the way hands find each other without thinking. In the pause before a kiss. In the small gestures that say everything. This is what I try to preserve - moments that feel honest, timeless and deeply personal.

For me, it is about how it felt to be there. The atmosphere of the room. The hand you reached for without thinking. The people you love, exactly as they are. I want your photographs to bring you back to that feeling - not to a performance made for the camera.
