Hi, I’m Rita - the photographer behind Sol Photo.
My journey into photography began as a search for beauty in what is imperfect, quiet and real. I have always been drawn to the in-between moments - the ones that are not staged, but deeply felt.
I photograph weddings, elopements and love stories in the Netherlands and across Europe. My work is built on trust, calm presence and gentle direction, so you can feel like yourselves while I create something that looks and feels cinematic.
For me, photography is not about perfect poses. It is about how it felt to be there.
I believe that real beauty lives in quiet, unposed moments.
In the way hands find each other without thinking.
In the pause before a kiss.
In the small gestures that say everything.
This is what I try to preserve - moments that feel honest, timeless and deeply personal.
